Look at all the gold coins!%u201dTom and Huck were excited. There was real treasure downstairs! The boys smiled.%u201cThis is the treasure of the old Murrel family. Now it%u2019s our treasure!%u201d said Injun Joe.%u201cWhere should we hide the gold?%u201d asked the small man.%u201cWe can%u2019t put it back under the stone. Someone might find it. Let%u2019s hide it under the cross tonight,%u201d said Injun Joe.As it got dark, the men took the treasure away. Tom and Huck didn%u2019t follow them because they were too scared of Injun Joe. But now they wanted to find out where the cross was and get the treasure!
